About
My practice covers a broad range of property disputes, with a strong focus on residential and commercial eviction matters. With over 6 years' experience in property law, I've appeared in the Magistrates' Court and High Court across South Africa, and worked with landlords, property managers, body corporates and homeowners' associations on the legal and practical sides of property disputes.
I specialise in evictions, the Rental Housing Tribunal, debt collection, and landlord–tenant disputes — experience built up as a senior associate attorney before moving into consulting, appearing regularly in Court and training property practitioners on legal updates. I aim for pragmatic, timely, and commercially orientated resolutions.

Residential evictions
Every residential eviction follows a set legal sequence. Knowing where you are in it tells you what to expect next.
Opening your file, an initial telephonic consult and ensuring that the occupant is properly in unlawful occupation, this includes the letters of demand and cancellation if there is a lease agreement and the tenant is in breach.
Drafting and issuing the eviction application under the PIE Act, and instructing the Sheriff to serve the occupier.
Drafting the ex parte application in terms of section 4(2) and attending to the hearing thereof in Court.
Attending Court to argue the eviction before a Judge or Magistrate and obtaining the eviction order.
Drafting the warrant of ejectment and coordinating with the Sheriff to carry out the eviction.
